The 5D is a Class D amplifier capable of flexibly distributing power across four channels. It integrates Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with configurations tailored for E‑series, xS‑series, xC‑series, and T‑series compact loudspeakers, as well as equalization and delay functions. A linear setting is also provided, allowing the amplifier to be used as a linear installation amplifier. With a dynamic range of 111 dB (Dante input, unweighted), the 5D is designed to drive specific d&b loudspeaker series while offering comprehensive management and protection features.

The tray specifically designed for the 5D amplifier is made of electro‑galvanized steel sheet, providing a stable and secure mounting environment for the amplifier. It ensures equipment safety and facilitates maintenance in complex installation scenarios. Four XLR connectors have been added to enable stable signal transmission with audio processors and mixing consoles. The rear panel features an integrated patch panel tailored for the 5D amplifier, combining power, signal, and network interfaces, which reduces the number of devices and wiring complexity by more than 50%. With a 2U chassis height, the amplifier can be perfectly installed into a 2U rack along with the 5D amplifier. This design also supports placement in a 2U protective case for convenient transportation and portability.

All signal sockets and connectors are sourced from internationally renowned brands such as NEUTRIK and CANARE, ensuring faithful reproduction of the original audio signal.
