Combining waveform oscillator tone layering, phase and shaping modulation, resonant filters, and two powerful step LFOs, n/zyme serves as a highly interactive musical tool that continuously fuels your creative exploration.

Vintage Model Expansions: Leveraging the powerful computing capabilities of the ZEN-Core synthesis engine and BMC chip, the classic vintage-style JD-800, JUNO-106, JUPITER-8, JX-8P, and SH-101 model expansions distill the essence of Roland's legendary instruments while offering modern creators increased polyphony and other contemporary features.

FANTOM EX is equipped with the V-Piano's unlimited polyphony virtual modeling piano sound source and SuperNATURAL multi-sampling sound source technology, delivering expressive authentic piano tones and tactile feedback.

It also features realistic SuperNATURAL acoustic piano and electric piano (EP) sound sources, as well as the newly developed SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 Expansion.

FANTOM EX seamlessly integrates into various music production scenarios and configurations. You can use the custom touchscreen to control parameters of mainstream DAW software in real time, or enable the integrated DAW control mode. It supports Ableton Live, Logic Pro, MainStage, with new additions of Cubase and Studio One.

The color touchscreen automatically adjusts its display content according to the current operation, immersing you in the creative process. You can also import custom images for the screensaver and startup screen to showcase your unique personality.

Additionally, the 2024 FANTOM EX features Roland’s proprietary BMC (Behavior Modeling Core) processor. This custom-designed, powerful core processor delivers smooth and precise operation. With ample processing power, it supports a high polyphony count and retains full sound quality for seamless transitions.
