The Whirlwind AES Splitter 1×2 is a passive isolation splitter that duplicates a single AES/EBU signal into two identical AES/EBU outputs. The product features a unique three-transformer circuit architecture: a dual-secondary transformer at the input, with each of the two outputs equipped with its own independent isolation transformer. This design maintains excellent digital signal integrity while achieving high electrical isolation between the two outputs. It is available in both portable and rackmount configurations, is compatible with mainstream digital consoles, processors, and recorders, and is suitable for live sound reinforcement, broadcast, theater engineering, and similar applications.
